If I had the time and money to spend on something like EVE Fanfest, I'd much, much rather go to any city in Iceland than Atlanta. Atlanta is dreadful. (At least choose an interesting US city like New York or New Orleans.)

My hauler takes about 1.7 minutes to reach a gate from 15km out. In 10 jumps that's 17 minutes of *extra* time over that spent in warp, aligning, and jumping. That's a huge amount of pointless waste imo.
